God of all provision, God of all I need. God of hills and valleys, and all else in between.
God of truth and justice, God of love and grace. God of all goodness, glory, and mercy in this place.
God over ache and sorrow, God of what’s to come. God who rules the nations and says when all is done.
God of utter dependence, God of all that’s secure. God of all identity, who rules things by His Word.
God of deepest kindness, God of holding fast. God who is unchanging, who sweeps the sinner’s past.
God of all creation, God of all things true. God who is enough, God who makes all things new.
God who scoffs at danger, He knows what comes my way. God who isn’t mocked, God who has the final say.
God who leads me gently, God who will never leave. God who holds my hand and says, “in me is all your peace.”
Thank you for sharing this, Amy. It is beautiful and so heartfelt. It would make a great song lyric.
Thank you so much, Jeneane. It was a piece that brought such comfort to write. Remembering who God is/ His sovereign control, is just a comfort to hold on to.
