One Who Knows

I know the plans I have for you, I know just what you need. I know this course you’re on, was not the road foreseen.

I know your deepest heartache, I see all you long to know. I know when you rise, when you sleep, and the path in which you’ll go.

I know your every question, I know every, single fear. I know how you pleaded and agonized, I caught every single tear.

I know this wasn’t your choosing, far from what you desired. I know your walk of obedience, for these grievous steps required.

I know your current wrestle, with this road you must now travel. I know some days seem hopeless, and full of gloomy shadows.

I know the time has come now to watch it fade away. I know you’ll grieve, I know you’ll mourn, and fight through disarray.

I know this besetting threshing, I know how it hurts to breathe. I know your struggle to face this and your grasp for faith to believe.

I know you’ll think I’m silent as you fall to the depths of despair. I know you’ll stagger to trust me, but I promise I’ll meet you there.

I know you may fear I’m leaving, and may think I’m far away. But know I’m always with you, and right here I’ll always stay.
